We have been very busy in our household getting ready for Christmas. IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR! And better yet, we will be celebrating Jaxson’s first Christmas! SO very excited!

I don’t have a whole lot to report as we’ve just been busy running around, wrapping prezzies and visiting friends and family. Ive recently been taking a photography course and I am a few modules away from completion. This is something I have absolutely loved doing. It has been great to finally learn how to use the SLR camera we purchased a few years back. I have been busy snapping shots over the last week and taking Christmas pictures of Jax. Get ready….

Jaxson went and visited Santa for the first time this past weekend. This was a task that I was not looking forward to but I feel it is a parental obligation to do this yearly. Thankfully he was the VERY first in line after Santa’s lunch break and we were in and out very quickly. (I did not take the Santa pics)

Today Jaxson was dressed like a ‘lumberJAX’ and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity of snapping some cute christmas tree photos.

Tonight Alex is slaving away in the kitchen baking shortbread cookies from her grandmothers recipe. First batch just came out of the oven and I have to say SHE NAILED IT!

Did anyone notice the new trick Jaxson has mastered? He’s sitting COMPLETELY on his own!! What a strong wee guy!
